- A Foot in the Door exists to provide a nesting ground for Digital Media Projects.
To allow independent artists and crew to have an opportunity to gain experience and exposure. Pooling resources in order to see projects fulfilled outside of the traditional avenues which are often inaccessible to independent artists.
- Daze of the Unemployed Actor - "Daze" is having it's "world premiere" at the Planet Indie Film Festival in Toronto - September 7 at 7 pm at the Bloor Cinema. "Daze" is a 20 minute improv about the life of an unemployed down-on-his-luck actor shot on digital video in a day and a half.
- Toronto Film and Video Forum: a discussion and networking venue for independent film and video-makers in the Toronto area. Exchange ideas and information for creating, producing, marketing and distribution of independent film and video. Announcements promoting screenings and opportunities for filmmakers such as festivals, contests, grants, distribution, calls for cast and crew are also welcome.
