CAO has launched a new discussion board forum, Entre Nous. The forum is moderated by Karen
Racicot.
Karen is a francophone who is fluently bilingual and who has worked in Quebec and English Canada as
well as in LA. She is knowledgeable of the issues that concern actors and, like the other CAO
moderators, if she doesn't have an answer, she know how to find the answer or can steer you in the
right direction to look for it.
Born and raised in Quebec, Karen Racicot started her professional acting career after a year at l'option theatre de St-Hyacinthe. Her first series regular role was for Belle-Rive, followed by L'Or Du Temps both shows produced by Tele-Metropole. Simultaneously she had a recurring part on Mr. Le Ministre produced by Radio-Canada. She appeared in numerous commercials. To learn English, she came to Toronto and established herself as a very busy voice-over talent lending her voice to many brands, while being hired as a spokesperson for corporate videos. Four years later she moved to Los Angeles where she lived for the next 11 years. We saw her in Days Of Our Lives, as well as in Seaquest DSV. We heard her on Jonny Quest and on the big screen in Don Juan De Marco.
Now back in Toronto for two years, she'll been seen on TFO starting this February in Francoeur.
Karen is available to answer questions posed in French about the Biz in Canada, and can also talk
